DONATE TO HELP US BRING SEA VIXEN XP-924 G-CVIX ‘FOXY LADY’ HOME

PLEASE DONATE TO HELP BRING  SEA VIXEN XP-924 G-CVIX ‘FOXY LADY’ HOME TO THE MUSEUM

This unique British aircraft urgently needs a new home. On 27th May 2017, Sea Vixen XP-924 G-CVIX ‘Foxy Lady’ flew for the last time but suffered a landing gear failure when landing at RNAS Yeovilton. Since then, Navy Wings had been endeavouring to restore her back to flight, but unfortunately the cost of £2m proved too high.  Sadly, after many hours of care and hard work on this beautiful aircraft the decision was made to offer her to another museum

Bournemouth Aviation Museum have come forward as her saviours to allow people like you and I the chance to connect with her and marvel at her majesty and in 2023 ‘Foxy Lady’ will return to Bournemouth Aviation Museum to be maintained in her current state.

The fund needs £40,000 to transport her back with police escorts, surveys, equipment, and transportation to bring her back home and we need to do it properly. We are aiming to keep her undercover when she reaches her new home at Bournemouth Aviation Museum but it needs to be a non-permanent structure due to being on greenbelt land. Our CVIX Champions names will placed on her Champions Board which will be placed in the heart of the Sea Vixen, you’ll truly be the heart and soul of her.

If you wish to donate please pop into Bournemouth Aviation Museum, Merritown Lane, Christchurch, Dorset.  BH23 6BA, where you can pay by card or cheque.
