Admission Price increase wef 1st November 2023

Having been held for the past six years, we have had to finally increase our admission prices. From the 1st November 2023 the adult entrance fee will be £10 and the child entrance fee £5. We realise that nobody likes increased prices, and we have held out as long as possible. These changes will help to cover the increased running costs and expenditure due to inflation and  to help fund improvements to the museum site.

We are a self-funded charity with no permanent staff, so all the money raised goes on the running of the museum such as rental charges, electricity and general maintenance. We also use the money to purchase new exhibits and to improve the condition of the site. So where is the extra money going to?

Here are some of the big improvements we are making:

  • A smart new entrance building,
  • Newly refurbished toilets building,
  • A greatly increased display area at the front the museum to showcase our Royal Navy aircraft collection.
  • Purchase of new exhibits such as the Royal Navy Hunter, Lynx and hopefully in the very near future the Sea Vixen!
  • New flight simulator

We hope you will support these changes and continue to visit the museum as often as possible. For those regular visitors don’t forget we have an annual membership available allowing unlimited entries. For details see under Friends at the top the page or so ask about it next time you are in.
