BOURNEMOUTH AVIATION MUSEUM TO REOPEN

The relaxation of the rules in respect of the Covid 19 pandemic means that Bournemouth Aviation Museum can reopen to the public. At first it will be on a restricted basis. We will open Friday to Monday inclusive only, commencing from 10th July. Please check our website for updates.

Our museum has always been a “hands on” venue and we have up until now encouraged our visitors to sit in the cockpits of many of our aircraft. Regrettably, we will have to restrict what we can make available. However, we will make every effort to get back to as near normal as the regulations will allow. Of paramount importance is the need to keep our visitors and volunteers safe. Social distancing and hygiene are crucial. Groups including children must keep together. Notices will be displayed at the entrance to the museum clearly showing which of our facilities are not available.

We want to welcome back all our friends, supporters and visitors to the area. With everyone’s cooperation we will make every effort to get back to seven-day opening as soon as we can.
